The Last Drop has been a special pub for me for more than twenty years, before, when and since I lived in Edinburgh. Ever since I first experienced its Old World feel - not to mention its Steak and Guinness Pie! - it has occupied a special place in my heart and has been the scene of some very special times for me.The Last Drop was also essentially where my worldwide charity project, The Five Dollar Vacation was born. This is a project sending five US Dollar bills to as many interesting locations as possible, either by taking them myself or by friends doing so on my behalf, and attempting to raise as much money as possible for various charities in the process.
